What's a great Mexican restaurant doing way up here in the White Mountains of New Hampshire for the last 20 years?!
I ask myself the same question every day! Good Mexican food tastes just as good way up here in the white North as it does in the heat of the sun in Mexico. (Well, almost). I love to travel, see different places and experience some of the variety that is our world. By the time I went to the sixth grade, for the second time, I had been around the world, lived in Thailand, and been through the Suez and Panama Canals. I lived in Panama, walked the jungle, had ridden an elephant, and swam in both the Pacific and Atlantic oceans in one day! I've traveled to the four corners of our great country and, more recently, the perimeter of Mexico for three months by motorcycle. I love being a tourist and love having both local and world travelers coming through my place, Cafe Noche. I love to see something interesting when I travel. I've been to Tequila, Mexico to check out the different Tequilas and to Oaxaca to try the different Mescals. I've had seafood and enchiladas up and down both coasts. I've tried so many salsas and hot sauces I can't remember them all. I'm always looking for something new and I hope you feel you've experienced something new and interesting, once you have visited us at Cafe Noche. Our goal is to provide a fresh, simple and flavorful meal and drink at a reasonable price, all in a comfortable and fun atmosphere that is as close to a little piece of Mexico as possible. It is amazing how many people and effort it takes to put out our meals and drinks each day and year. That's over 25,000 margaritas and over 60,000 meals just last year! It's what we do, it's what we've done for over 26 years with many of the same people... in the same location. I hope we get it just right for you when you come in to visit us! |
